Lawson Ice Arena 4-6-24

On April 6, 2024, the Phantoms would return to Kalamazoo, Michigan, however, would shift to the other rink in the city for a Black vs. Yellow game.  Lawson Ice Arena, home of the Western Michigan Broncos, would be the site to host the special game.  During the Bronco Battle, both team's would crank up the scoring and display the highest scoring game to date in a Black vs. Yellow/Gray series with a total of 21 goals being scored.  Despite a back and fourth battle for much of the game, Team Yellow would stage a late third period rally to climb into a lead and take claim to a 12-9 final.  Trent Kik (Black) and Ryker Barber (Yellow) would serve as captains for the event.  Kyle Steinke would be game photographers.  Walt Clarke and Brian Ostwald would be the referees for the tilt.  Following the Black vs. Gray game, the group would travel across town to watch the ECHL's Kalamazoo KWings battle the Cincinnati Cyclones.  This game would mark the third game of the 2023-2024 season.
