On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the Phantoms make their first trek north of the border for a Black vs. Yellow game in Windsor, Ontario and the WFCU Centre, home of the Windsor Spitfires. Trinity Health Arena: 2-7-26
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the Phantoms returned to Trinity Health Arena and Muskegon for the team's annual Muskegon Black vs. Yellow game. The Phantoms again pulled out all of the stops for the Muskegon game with a public address announcer, music dj, special effect lighting and the use of the arena's center ice video board. BMO Center: 11-1-25
On November 1, 2025 the Phantoms traveled to Rockford, Illinois and the BMO Center for a Black vs. Gray game at the Home of the Rockford IceHogs (AHL). In a game that featured plenty of new skaters to the team's network, the offense was fast and furious on the IceHogs ice as Team Gray rallied back in the second half to secure a 10-7 victory over Team Black. On March 22, 2025, the Phantoms returned to Trinity Health Arena and Muskegon to close out the 2024-2025 season of Black vs. Yellow game games. On February 22, 2025, the Phantoms finally made it to Ohio to play in the city that housed several members of the team during their college years at the University of Toledo as well as Bowling Green. UWM Panther Arena: 2-8-25
On February 8, 2025, the Phantoms would make the team's first trip to Wisconsin and play in a Black vs. Gray game at the home of Milwaukee Admirals, the UWM Panther Arena. The event took two years to bring to life and the team made the most of it during a three-day, two-night-stay in the Cheese State with a fun weekend of hockey, beer and friends. Dow Event Center: 11-9-24
On November 9, 2024, the Phantoms would finally make a trip to Saginaw, Michigan after an injury forced the cancelation of the Saginaw event a year ago. Wendler Arena at the Dow Event Center would be the site to host a Black vs. Gray game. On April 6, 2024, the Phantoms would return to Kalamazoo, Michigan, however, would shift to the other rink in the city for a Black vs. Yellow game. Lawson Ice Arena, home of the Western Michigan Broncos, would be the site to host the special game. On March 2, 2024, the Phantoms returned to Trinity Health Arena for a Black vs. Gray game at the home of the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks. Yost Ice Arena: 5-20-23
The Phantoms returned to Yost Ice Arena on Saturday, May 20, 2023 and played in the team's second game at the Michigan University stadium. The team would dig out the yellow jerseys to pair against the black sweaters in a classic battle of Black vs. Yellow in Ann Anbor. Fifth Third Arena: 3-18-23
The Phantoms traveled back to Chicago on Saturday, March 18, 2023 and played a Black vs. Gray game at Fifth Third Arena, the official practice facility of the Chicago Blackhawks. The battle in Chicago would see Team Gray defeat Team Black by the final of 4-1. The Phantoms traveled back east on I-96 on Saturday, January 28, 2023 and played a Black vs. Gray game at Munn Ice Arena, home to the Michigan State University Men's Hockey Team. The Phantoms took the show on the road on Saturday, November 12, 2022 to play a Black vs. Gray game at All State Arena, home of the defending AHL champion Chicago Wolves. The Phantoms returned to Muskegon, Michigan for the fourth time in team history on March 12, 2022 to play in a spirited Black vs. Gray game at Mercy Health Arena. Returning for the second time in these specialty games was Lee Andrews (from the Muskegon Lumberjacks) to public address the game as well as Jeremy Bos (from the Muskegon Lumberjacks) to DJ the game. The Phantoms took the show on the road on Saturday, October 16, 2021 to play a Black vs. Gray game at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The arena, formerly known as Compuware Ice Arena, is currently home to USA Hockey's National Team Development Program. Wings Stadium: 2-8-20
On February 8, 2020, the West Michigan etched another venue into the team's rich history of playing 'On The Road'. Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan played host to a Phantom Black vs. Phantom Gray game and the old barn lived up to history. A group of 25 members and friends of the Phantoms skated in a scrimmage game at the historic rink before catching an exciting Kalamazoo Wings vs. Indy Fuel game later that evening.
