Phantom Team Update 12.14.20
12/14/20: TEAM UPDATE
It has been a few weeks since we updated all players on the current pause to the season as a result of the State of Michigan’s partial shut-down to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus. I can say that as we wait for the latest information from the Michigan governor, I am hopeful that we will return to the ice soon for league hockey. We are currently able to host private ice rentals and had a great turnout on December 13th for a scrimmage and plan to host another at Walker Ice & Fitness on December 20th if we again get enough skaters. The current pause has been rough and 2020 in general, has been a complete mess filled with disappointment, canceled games and few opportunities to hang out as a team and with friends. As we, along with millions in the state, wait for this pause to end, we do need to be prepared to return to the rink and play or be prepared to extend the season pause and remain off the ice. In terms of the Phantoms, the information below is where we stand at the moment. I have asked every player to work on paying for at least one-quarter of the season ($50 minimum) as we have played 4 of the 20 games of the regular season. Additionally, in the event of a continued pause as we experienced in the spring, I have asked for everyone to return their Phantom jerseys to avoid having to track players down at the restart in the event they don’t return. We still have some work to do. Please see the information below.
LEAGUE FEES ($208 TOTAL; $50 FOR ONE-QUARTER): Kik-paid $104, MZehr-paid $208, DeBoer-paid $100, Laux-paid $50, Fabian-paid $206, Porczynski-paid $50, Skoboda-paid $100, BZehr-paid $208, Allen-nothing paid, Myers-paid $50, Erickson-nothing paid, Ellens-nothing paid, Breazeale-nothing paid, Blok-paid $50, Wootton-paid $208.

JERSEY RETURN: Still looking for the following people to return their jerseys to myself. Please make arrangement to schedule drop-off. (I am on vacation for the balance of the year and pretty much able to keep anywhere). Jerseys Needed: Kik, MZehr, BZehr, Ellens
We are hoping to return to the ice soon, however, are also planning for an extended time off period if state mandates require. Your help in closing out the above topics is appreciated.
